01 / About

Engineering that holds up under scrutiny

Frontend developer with ~4 years building production React and TypeScript applications for enterprise and client businesses — role-based platforms, bilingual (Arabic/English, RTL) products, and internal tools that streamline real operational workflows.

Works across architecture, performance, and accessibility, with regular code review, testing, and close collaboration with UI/UX and product teams.

Architecture

Feature-based structure, standardized shared modules, and clear API boundaries across business domains.

Performance

Memoization, data caching, and image optimization — measured, not assumed.

Accessibility

Semantic markup, keyboard support, and motion that respects prefers-reduced-motion.

Frontend Developer · Client engagement via Specialized Business Solutions (SBS)

  • Delivered features that digitize internal approval and decision-making workflows on SPGA, an enterprise governance platform.
  • Helped redesign the frontend into a feature-based architecture, standardizing shared modules and API boundaries across multiple business domains.
  • Mentored a junior developer, reviewed PRs, and led migration to a feature-colocated architecture (features/ + shared/) across a 15+ domain frontend, cutting onboarding friction and cross-feature merge conflicts.
  • Led performance work — React memoization, data caching, and image optimization — to keep the platform responsive as its feature surface grew.
  • Added automated tests and collaborated closely with UI/UX on a defense/government platform where confidentiality shapes every decision.

Frontend Developer · Cairo, Egypt

  • Built a Recruitment Platform end-to-end — a candidate-facing application portal and an internal HR/Sales portal (job postings, hiring pipeline, interviews, evaluations, offers) sharing one backend across 80+ pages and 100+ API integrations, secured with OTP + JWT-gated auth.
  • Built Prokademi, a role-based (Admin/Teacher) e-learning dashboard with course and student management, a shared component library, and Chart.js analytics with PDF/Excel export.
  • Built a bilingual (AR/EN, full RTL) Parking Portal serving back-office admins and on-site gate operators from one codebase, with real-time session tracking and QR-based check-in across roughly 20 Redux slices.

Problem

A Riyadh salon and spa needed a bilingual marketing site that could actually convert visitors into bookings, not just describe services.

What I built

A bilingual (EN/AR, full RTL) Next.js marketing and booking site with WhatsApp and Fresha booking integrations, JSON-LD structured SEO, and Framer Motion throughout.

Outcome

Lighthouse (mobile, verified Jul 2026): 92 SEO · 96 Best Practices · 89 Accessibility · 88 Performance — FCP 1.0s, CLS 0.004.

SPGA — Enterprise Governance Platform

Case study

Problem

Internal approval and decision-making workflows were spread across manual, disconnected processes inside a large governance platform.

What I built

Digitized approval workflows and helped redesign the frontend into a feature-based architecture, standardizing shared modules and API boundaries across business domains.

Outcome

Led migration to a feature-colocated architecture (features/ + shared/) across a 15+ domain enterprise frontend, establishing ownership conventions and import tooling that reduced onboarding friction and cross-feature merge conflicts.

Recruitment Platform

Case study

Problem

HR and Sales needed a single system to run the full hiring pipeline end-to-end instead of stitching tools together.

What I built

Delivered both halves of the pipeline end-to-end: a candidate-facing application portal and an internal HR/Sales portal (job postings, hiring pipeline, interviews, evaluations, offers, client requests) sharing one backend, secured with OTP + JWT-gated auth across a domain-per-slice RTK Query architecture.

Outcome

Replaced stitched-together tools with one connected system spanning 80+ pages and 100+ API integrations. Remained in active development after my handoff — no post-launch adoption metrics available.

Prokademi

Case study

Problem

Admins and teachers needed role-based tools for course and student management, with reporting that didn't require a spreadsheet.

What I built

A role-based (Admin/Teacher) e-learning dashboard with course and student management, a shared component library, and Chart.js analytics with PDF/Excel export.

Outcome

Replaced manual, spreadsheet-based course/student tracking with a single dashboard: admins manage courses, modules, and students in one place, and generate PDF/Excel reports instead of building them by hand.

Case study

Problem

Back-office admins and on-site gate operators were working from fragmented tools that didn't share data in real time.

What I built

A bilingual (AR/EN, full RTL) system serving both admins and gate operators from one codebase, with real-time session tracking and QR-based check-in across roughly 20 Redux slices.

Outcome

Cut average gate check-in time by an estimated ~40% by replacing manual vehicle lookup with single-scan QR check-in, and eliminated end-of-day manual reconciliation by moving admins and gate operators onto one real-time-synced system. (Estimate based on process comparison, not instrumented data.)
